The goals of COSA-NCADD’s HIV/AIDS programs and activities are to :

• Reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS by providing education on safer sex practices and substance usage;
• Increase HIV testing; and
• Change norms around the acceptability of addressing the co-occurring issues of HIV/AIDS transmission and substance use disorders.

For 2014-2015, COSA-NCADD is partnering with Alabama State University and other community stakeholders to implement an awareness campaign, “Knowing is Sexy.”  Information can be found at the following media platforms:
