A General Overview of the Prevalence, Use and Effects of Legal, Illegal and Designer Drugs in Our Community and the United States
Often times new trending drug use is identified when there is an increase in emergency room visits for overdoses, severe side effect and deaths. Reemerging drugs such as Heroin and Molly (Ecstasy) have cause renewed caution due to its increased potency. Professionals Participants will be introduced to what is currently trending in drug use, how to identify signs and symptoms of drug use and the impact drug use have on individuals, families and the community (i.e. healthcare, workforce and education).
